Chris Kirby – Solo Show & Spring Line-up

If this winter has had you tucking in more evenings that you’d prefer, plan a great night out in March; our next show falls on the cusp of spring and promises to be most entertaining……

March 9: Chris Kirby Tickets are $25 and available here

Chances are you’ve heard a Chris Kirby song lately. The Newfoundland born, Halifax based award winning artist has co-written hits for The Trews, Matt Andersen, The East Pointers, Quote the Raven, and many more. Published through Sound of Pop, many of Chris’ songs have appeared in major television shows, commercials, indie films and documentaries.

Kirby is so in-demand as a songwriter, producer and musician that he rarely gets a chance to release his own music. These days he is most often found sitting behind a Hammond B3 organ on-stage or in-studio with Matt Andersen. Kirby has also toured with the likes of Alan Doyle, Amy Helm, Big Sugar and Wide Mouth Mason.

But check out this video of Chris killing it on a guitar – proof that this guy is no one-trick pony!

After a 7 year hiatus, Chris Kirby finally released a new album of original music in 2019. “What Goes Around” was widely embraced, delivered two East Coast Countdown #1 songs, and had a strong presence on national Earshot! charts.

“Close to You Again” is the latest single from Kirby, and hints at a new, contemporary roots direction for the artist.

Saturday, March 9 @ 8 pm. Tickets are $25 and available on EventBrite here.

Our spring dance card has rounded out……tickets for an April 13 show featuring Kristen Martell are available now here.  Tickets are now available for a May 11 show with Daniel James McFadyen & [NEW] Juno-nominee Steph LaRochelle and will be soon for a June 2 matinee featuring Lynne Hanson.

So gather some friends – grab your tickets – and head on over – easy as that!  For each show, the artist(s) take 100% of ticket sales.  We provide a stage, an audience and offer snacks to guests. All shows are BYOB.  Bringing music-loving-friends is strongly encouraged.  See you soon 🙂
