Daniel James McFadyen – Mother’s Day weekend

May 11 – Tickets $20 and available on EventBrite here

Note that this show was initially booked as a co-bill with Juno nominee Steph LaRochelle. Unfortunately, she is no longer able to join us. But Daniel is……Who said mothers want only brunch on their special day? Treat her to some live music as well/instead!

Born in Caledon, Ontario, rising indie-folk artist Daniel James McFadyen now calls Nova Scotia home. His storytelling and interactive shows have sold out across Canada, filling large venues including Toronto’s iconic Horseshoe Tavern and the Marquee Ballroom in Halifax. Amidst a year of remarkable growth, McFadyen released his highly anticipated EP, Songs to Show Your Friends last October. The 5-track offering introduces intricate melodies and compelling instrumentation in which he explores topics of love, loss, adventure, and feelings of home, all of which have defined his presence in the Canadian folk and indie scenes.

McFadyen’s debut album, August, I’m Yours, was released in 2021, and earned him nominations for several ECMAs and Nova Scotia Music Awards including Folk Recording of the Year, Rising Star Recording of the Year, and Entertainer of the Year.

So gather some friends – grab your tickets – and head on over – easy as that!  For each show, the artist(s) take 100% of ticket sales.  We provide a stage, an audience and offer snacks to guests. All shows are BYOB.  Bringing music-loving-friends is strongly encouraged.  See you soon 🙂
