If you haven’t seen three sheet perform live – here is your chance! Normally they take the stage way past my bedtime but at Patchwork House Concerts, they’ll be performing at our standard 8 pm on Saturday, September 17. To encourage everyone to attend, we are suggesting a $20 cover, and a lower $10 for students. This is fabulous way to kick off a new school year. three sheet is a six member, genre-bending power house. Winners of numerous Music NS and ECMAs for hip hop recordings, they are the genuine article: No Samples, No Loops. 100% Beatbox percussion, Vocalization & Instrumentation. Three Sheet’s contagiously energetic live performances are validated with vivid and honest content both sonically and lyrically. They recently released their 3rd album “Heart to Make it Perfect” featuring a new DJ (“Uncle Fester”) and adding keys to round out their sound.

This is an all-ages show (but best suited for kids 12+). We’ll be passing the hat for the band and looking for $20 per person ($10-for students). All funds go directly to the artists. There will be 2 sets with a break in between; cds will be available for sale.
Non-alcoholic beverages will be offered. You are invited to take along any wine/beer/etc. that you wish to enjoy. There will be a selection of munchies at the break. Contributions to the munchies table will be shared happily although not required.

After a high energy hip-hop, we thought we’d shake things up a bit so our October show will be the Blue Engine String Quartet – four of of the finest musicians in Nova Scotia, all members of Symphony NS, will play for you in our living room on Saturday, October 8.
