MUSIC! Alana Yorke – Jan 30 then Dylan Menzie & Dave Sampson – Feb 6

Due to winter ickiness we had to reschedule our show with Alana Yorke to January 30.  She has revealed that there are lots of new songs ready for fresh ears so you want to be here…….

ALANA YORKE in a duo show with IAN BENT

SATURDAY, JANUARY 30 @ 8 PM

$20 (all $$ to the artists, as usual)

For now, Alana’s song Anthem can be enjoyed along with a stunning video at  http://www.alanayorke.com/

I intend to leave the folding chairs out and the regular furniture moved off to the side after Alana’s show because the following week, we are hosting another show:

DYLAN MENZIE & DAVE SAMPSON

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 6 @ 8 PM

$20 (all $$ to the artists, as usual)

Dylan Menzie is often compared to (and confused with) Joel Plaskett.  His first recording earned several PEI Music Awards Nominations and praise from Ron Sexsmith.  He is currently recording a follow up cd with Daniel Ledwell.

Dave Sampson is an alumnus of the Gordie Sampson Song Camp, an elite group of singer-songwriters that includes the likes of Mo Kenney, Carleton Stone and Breagh MacKinnon among its members.

You can check out these guys via their websites:

So folks…it is winter.  Days are short and the best thing for our souls is getting out – being with other people – sharing in the joy that is music.  Join us on either OR BOTH of these dates for a memorable evening of music, in the cozy comfort of our living room.

RSVP* (to either or both) via mleblanc.patchwork@gmail.com or by calling 902 434-8355.

Best,
