Logan Richard & Noah Malcolm – December 6

We are delighted to welcome back to the living room Logan Richard.  He will be here on December 6 with fellow Islander Noah Malcolm.  Together they represent some of the BEST rising talent of the region.  Nominations for PEI Music Awards 2026 just came out and Logan co-leads the pack with 5 nominations (tied with Lennie Gallant).

Logan Richard is one of music’s rarest creatures— a sharp, versatile songwriter and an electrifying guitarist, bringing both talents together on his new full-length album, Character Traits. Influenced by blues legend Stevie Ray Vaughan, as well as John Mayer, Jason Isbell, and his Acadian musical roots, Richard started performing live at just 12 years old. His debut at Patchwork was not long after and we’ve been following his rapid trajectory ever since.

Over the past decade, he’s built a reputation as an in-demand session player and a standout solo artist, developing a genre-fluid style that spans slick pop, spacey R&B, and soulful folk. Produced by David Myles and Joshua Van Tassel, Character Traits is a masterclass in versatility and heart. Songs like the autobiographical title track and the shimmering “Up From Here” reflect on identity, relationships, and the search for belonging, while tracks like “Feels This Way” and “Feel The World Spinning” show off Richard’s melodic instincts and guitar chops, not to mention “If You’re Gonna to Change Your Mind“. It’s a record that reveals the wide scope of his artistry — every song a different piece of the puzzle.

Richard’s music has already landed over two dozen sync placements, including Hudson & Rex, Ginny & Georgia, and Workin’ Moms, introducing his heartfelt songs to a wider audience. Along the way, he has picked up multiple Music PEI Awards and nominations and has been recognized by the East Coast Music Awards.

With 4 Music PEI awards, 4 ECMA nominations and a recent win for Pop Recording of the Year, Prince Edward Island singer-songwriter and producer Noah Malcolm is making his mark. He’s appeared at M for Montreal, Lunenburg Folk Fest, Cavendish Beach, JUNOFest (Halifax, Vancouver) NXNE, and with the PEI Symphony. Known for his catchy hooks, intimate lyrics and originality on stage, Noah is an exciting new folk/pop voice in the Canadian music scene. His songs have been heard on Family Channel, Hallmark Channel, CBC Gem and more.

Alongside his solo project, he’s a versatile songwriter, having attended song camps in Lunenburg, Toronto, Madrid, Helsinki, and the 2025 SOCAN Song House at the ECMAs. An active composer, he’s scored numerous short films, TV scores and his first feature-length film in 2023 (Paramount Plus). 2026 will bring new music, a showcase at English Folk Expo and several UK performance dates.

Tickets for this show are $30 and available here: tickets

If you are looking for a new way to celebrate the holidays with friends, family or work chums, consider coming en masse to this house concert.  Tickets for this show or one of our 2026 shows could be a secret Santa gift or that little something for the person who has everything.  Our January show features readings by Shelly Thompson from her new collection of winter-themed short stories accompanied by the sounds of the Blue Engine String Quartet.  Our February show falls on Valentines Day and features the Christina Martin trio.  Links to tickets for these shows are listed under ‘upcoming’ and findable on EventBrite.

Like all of our house concerts, 100 % of the door will go directly to the artists. We provide the stage, chairs and hopefully a room filled with eager listeners. Snacks and soft drinks will be offered; otherwise it is BYOB (feel free to bring what ever beverage you wish to enjoy). Bringing music-loving-friends and visiting family members is strongly encouraged. So gather some friends – grab your tickets – and head on over – easy as that!   See you soon 🙂.
