Music Nova Scotia’s 2025 Americana/Bluegrass Recording of the Year winner Charlie A’Court returns to the Patchwork living room on November 15th. His first show here was pretty special. We chose Charlie to celebrate our 100th show and we are excited to have him back for show #135.

Charlie A’Court is firmly planted at the crossroads of roots and soul, with a mighty voice, fierce, guitar work and contemporary songwriting that is loved by fans across Canada and beyond. His new album, “San Palarino” is an Americana-driven deep dive into growing older, emotional well-being, and the collective weight bearing down on humanity.

Charlie has always been recognized for exploring his musical horizons. As a six-time ECMA winner and eight-time nine-time Nova Scotia Music Award winner, Charlie has earned awards for Blues, Pop, and R&B/Soul Recordings of the Year, and on multiple occasions has been recognized as Entertainer of the Year. A’Court has also received multiple Maple Blues Award nominations including Male Vocalist and Songwriter of the Year. Tickets for Charlie are $30 (+ fees) and available here.

Like all of our house concerts, 100 % of the door will go directly to the artist. We provide the stage, chairs and hopefully a room filled with eager listeners. Snacks and soft drinks will be offered; otherwise it is BYOB (feel free to bring what ever beverage you wish to enjoy). Bringing music-loving-friends and visiting family members is strongly encouraged.
