Guitar, saxophone, huge songwriting and a voice that won him a Canadian Folk Music Award for Contemporary Singer, Ian Sherwood Brings The Light to every stage he stands on. A born story teller and a constant creator, his music dances the line between folk and pop. His live performances thrive on intimacy: what a perfect venue our living room shall be!

But we already know this – having hosted Ian on several occasions in the past. This time round Ian will be joined on stage by Chris Kirby and Malia Rogers performing songs from his brand new record, Broken Little Heart. Picking up a copy of this cd or vinyl at our show could solve all of your ‘what to gift so-and-so’ dilemmas this holiday season. And Ian’s show at Patchwork on Dec 14 could be that festive spirit gathering you and your friends/colleagues have been looking for.

Like all of our house concerts, 100 % of the door will go directly to the artists. We provide the stage, chairs and hopefully a room filled with eager listeners. Snacks and soft drinks will be offered; otherwise it is BYOB. Bringing music-loving-friends and visiting family members is strongly encouraged.
